Chevy 350 SHORT BLOCK ONLY was being built as good street motor and not a drag motor… we are going a different direction requiring a much beefier short block.  The engine is recently machined and has been run on a stand long enough to see 60psi of oil Pressure and 19 inches of vacuum and set initial timing.

New Speed-Pro Hypereutectic Pistons (depending on heads, compression ratio should be 9.0 – 9.5:1)

New Melling High-Volume Oil Pump and distributor drive rod

New Summit Racing™ Extended Life Oil Filter

New Five quarts 10w40 Lucas Hot Rod and Classic Car Motor Oil 

New Oil pan and Timing cover

New 8in harmonic balancer

New SFI Approved Flex plate

The block currently has a New COMP Cams Xtreme Energy Retrofit Roller Cam and Lifter Kit, True Double Roller Timing Set and BTR Push rods that I will leave in for an additional $1,320 new total $2920.
